Our library programs and services are designed to support students in developing the skills they need to navigate and succeed in a rapidly evolving social and economic landscape.

Our Mission:

  • Empowering Learning: Through our resource-rich programs, students learn to gather, critically analyze, and organize information. They develop problem-solving skills and learn to communicate their insights effectively.
  • Promoting Literacy: We provide and encourage access to high-quality fiction to cultivate a lifelong habit and enjoyment of reading. Our goal is to enrich students’ intellectual, cultural, aesthetic, and emotional development.
  • Inclusive Access: We cater to diverse learning and teaching styles by offering a wide range of materials, including fiction and non-fiction, in print, audio, video, and digital formats.
  • Supporting Teachers: Our library offers educators access to relevant curriculum information and professional development materials. We also facilitate collaborative planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs that integrate information resources and technologies.

Library Features:

  • Extensive Collection: Our library boasts a rich collection of thousands of books and journals, including over 3,860 books across various categories.
  • Digital Resources: Students can access online articles and digital resources through our internet facilities.
  • Automated Services: The library employs a computerized system for the efficient issue and return of books.

Library Rules:

  • Inclusive Access: Library facilities are available for almost all classes, encouraging students to read books that interest them for both pleasure and information.
  • Reference Access: Secondary section students have access to the Reference Library for in-depth research.
  • Multimedia Resources: Audio and video materials are available for both students and teachers to enhance learning experiences.
  • Accountability: Any damage to or loss of a book must be compensated by the responsible individual. Students who fail to return books by the end of the academic session may have their exam results withheld until the books are returned or replaced, and any applicable fines are paid.

At AIMS Model School, our library is not just a repository of books but a dynamic environment that supports the educational journey of every student.
